Our Approach to Learning

The ISC curricular framework articulates the skills, content knowledge and deeper understanding that students must gain in order to succeed in university, work and life.

Our Approach to Learning

At the International School Campus, we take a direct approach to the challenges and successes of our 21st century to give our students hands-on, authentic tasks for their learning.

ISC Curricular Framework

Our understanding of the term "21st Century Skills" constitutes the framework of the ISC curriculum. It encompasses many different competencies, which are developed and aligned vertically and horizontally for each grade level.  Students are individually able to advance or gain additional support through mastery-based learning.

Our 21st Century Learning Skills and Desired Student Learning Outcomes

Our school's curriculum, 21st-century learning skills, and desired student learning outcomes serve as the direction and substance for our school's academic programs.

Within the context of content knowledge, students also learn the essential skills for success in today's world, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, responsibility, collaboration, and innovation.  Students receive frequent feedback on their progress in learning content and skills.

With the ISC curricular framework, students are more engaged in the learning process and graduate better prepared to thrive in today's global economy.
