Due to the requirements in place for international teachers to practice in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, we require a Master's Degree or equivalent in the desired subject area in order to consider an application for a teaching position at ISC.

IBDP | High School Mathematics Teacher

ISC is looking for a mathematics teacher to teach in the IB Diploma Programme as well as Grades 9-10. Previous experience and training in IBDP Mathematics is required. This is a full-time classroom position. The curriculum taught is a combination of international mathematics standards and those of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. This teacher will may also be asked to teach interdisciplinary project-based learning courses during the afternoon program depending on course load. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare & teach mathematics lessons to students in Grades 9-12. 
  • Prepare & teach afternoon program lessons as needed.  
  • Administer and model ISC’s school policies and procedures
  • Regularly collect, track, and communicate student performance and growth.
  • Maintain regular email correspondence with parents and students.
